The PTA is a group of parents, teachers and community members who work together as a VOICE for our children. They support and speak on behalf of children in our school, in the community and before government groups and other organizations that make decisions affecting our children.

Panther Marquee Shout-outs!
Want to say happy birthday to your child in color flashing lights? Need to wish your best friend good luck at their event or competition? Trying to find a way to say thank you to your teacher or congratulate a graduate? Now is your chance! Order a Marquee Shout-Out and see your message on the big screen.
Messages will run for an entire month on the parking lot marquee!
All orders must be received one week PRIOR to the date your message is to start running. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Leave your legacy at Newhart
Legacy Books are a great way to share a special occasion or achievement with your school. In honor of your child’s birthday, bar mitzvah/bat mitzvah, special achievement in sports or academics, or to dedicate a book to a teacher, you can donate a book on behalf of your child to the Newhart Middle School Library. A bookplate will be placed inside the front cover of the book with your child’s name and occasion plus your child can be thanked for his/her donation by name on our Legacy Books donation bulletin board.
What a great way to teach our children the importance of books and reading by supporting the library!

These programs are completely volunteer-run, and we need your help to make this a successful year. There are small jobs and big jobs to fit everyone’s schedule.

National PTA’s Reflections Program
Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-selected theme.
The theme for the 2023-2024 program year is: “I am Hopeful Because…”
Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts.
